Reference to political topicality

We examine the forms, quality and challenges of democracy from the perspective of political science, law and political education/history didactics. With the Aarau Democracy Days, we regularly organize public events on academic topics related to current political issues. We also organize specialist conferences and provide scientific support for projects and events organized by our sponsoring institutions. The Centre for Democracy Studies Aarau also develops teaching materials for political education and history didactics.
