This research focus examines the practice of direct democracy at the federal, cantonal, and municipal levels in Switzerland, as well as in other countries and in the European Union, from a legal and political science perspective, and addresses aspects of political education. The methodology will include both institutional analyses and comparative studies, with research conducted on a subject-specific and interdisciplinary basis.
