Workshop with Francesco Veri: digital democracy
Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Karl der Grosse, Zurich
Democracy thrives on dialogue—but how can we have meaningful discussions when opinions are polarized and time is short? Artificial intelligence promises to structure discussions, consolidate arguments, and make consensus visible. But who decides which voices are heard? And what is lost when algorithms moderate? In this workshop, participants will work with Francesco Veri to test AI-supported deliberation formats on specific topics.
The workshop is for people involved in community work, associations, schools, or committed citizens who want to further develop democracy. It will be held as part of the “Festival After the Algorithm,” which will take place in Zurich from March 20 to 29, 2026.
