Review: Cantonalism or federalism? Late summer event organized by the «Friends of the ZDA» association

At the annual members’ event of the «Friends of the ZDA» association on August 28, around 60 attendees were able to listen to two exciting presentations at the Center for Democracy Aarau. Landammann Dr. Markus Dieth, President of the Conference of Cantonal Governments (KdK), reported on the history, role and challenges of the KdK with a practical perspective. Dr. Yvonne Hegele, research associate at the ZHAW School of Management and Law, presented the current state of research and theses on further development. The «Friends of the ZDA» association promotes the development of the ZDA and aims to strengthen its anchoring in the population, politics and business.
