Civic Education for a Society of Migration

What does civic education that is aimed at all young people look like? Teachers and experts in civic education, diversity, and migration studies explored this question during two workshops at the Polit-Forum Bern.

This has led to the development of eight guiding principles for our new project, «Toolbox for Political Participation»: ranging from representativeness and multilingualism to the ability to take action beyond the right to vote, and active participation by the young people themselves. The results of the workshop are now being incorporated into the further development of the toolbox.
