Review: Aarau Democracy Days 2026 «Trust and Democracy»
We can look back on the 18th edition of the Aarau Democracy Days. In 2026, they took place under the theme «Trust and Democracy.» The two-part academic conference, titled «Democracy without trust?», featured international panels with experts from the fields of education, political science, law, journalism, and media. The evening event, featuring a keynote address by Federal Chancellor Viktor Rossi and a panel discussion, was held under the theme «Trust in Democracy – What Do Government, Politics, and the Media Rely On?»
